We provide funding for the Konojel Community Center to strengthen the most at-risk individuals in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala, through…

Nutrition, Education, and Empowerment

In the indigenous language, Konojel means All Together.

Meet our team.

The Board of Directors of the All Together Foundation serves as an advisory board to Konojel.

We currently have seven members living in both the U.S. and Guatemala

Konojel operates several programs in pursuit of its mission, including:

  The Healthy Babies Program

Provides nutrition and early childcare education, nutritious meals, and support to pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to two years of age.

Through Konojel workshops, cooking classes, growth monitoring, and support groups, women can gain the knowledge and tools they need to build a strong foundation and successful development for their children and themselves.

  The Young Leaders Program

Provides tuition and travel subsidies for select students who want to continue their education beyond the local intermediate school.

Supplementary workshops and activities focus on leadership qualities and civic responsibility with the hope that the young leaders will give back to their community.

  The Computer Center

Provides access to modern computers, high-speed internet, and printing services to indigenous primary and intermediate school students, and in the evenings,
also to indigenous adults.

The local schools also hold classes in our new computer center, as they have since the program’s inception in 2015.

  The Entrepreneurship Program

Provides Mayan women with the skills to create, produce, and market a product.
The women also share in the profits.

They are offered workshops and guidance from professionals.

  The Konojel Restaurant

Located on the town’s main path, the Konojel Restaurant is highly rated in all the guidebooks and offers a menu of excellent local food. All profits are donated to the Konojel Community Center.

It provides training and respectable work opportunities to the indigenous women of San Marcos.

The restaurant’s contributions have funded about 25% of Konojel’s operating costs since it opened in 2017.

See more about our programs on the Konojel website.

New Konojel Facilities!

New Konojel Facilities!

After years of operating out of borrowed space, Konojel moved to its own building.

ATF has raised all the funding to construct the new Konojel Community Center – mostly contributed by ATF board members and a couple of very generous donors.
